How do I add photos?

You main avatar photo should be uploaded under "my uploads" in your member control panel. Any additional files you would like to add including photos, should be put in your gallery. The link to do this ("My Gallery") can also be found in your Member Control Panel.

I uploaded my photo, but it's not there, why?

If the photo you've uploaded is in the correct format, in the Gallery and still not appearing, it has not been approved. Photos are usually approved within 2-3 hours of upload. We do not approve pornographic or illegal material.

I'm under 18, can I join with a parent's permission?

No. We do not accept users under the age of 18. Parent's can not create accounts for those under age.

I would like to put music, video, photos, a tracker in my profile, how can I do that?

At this time we have not tested these items. If you are able to put them in your profile, you are welcome to. We would love to see dressed up pages, so please send us your profile link at admin@mychatnow.com if you've set up something unique!

I would like to make templates for mychatnow profiles. Can I do that?

Sure! Feel free to make templates. However, if you distribute them in any way, we ask that you let the downloader/recipient know that they are not affiliated with mychatnow.com.

I have a mychatnow.com template site. Will you list it?

Send us your page. If it meets our guidelines we'll include your site on our links page.

My photo won't upload. What's wrong?

Photos must be in jpg, jpeg or gif format. Images that aren't compatible will fail without an error message.

Someone has hacked into my account. What can I do?

Contact us with your name, the email address you registered with and another email address that we can contact you at that has not been compromised. While you wait for us to reply, please change any account passwords that share or are similar to your mychatnow password. If your email address has been compromised, none of your information is safe. Change everything you are able to.

Someone is bothering me. What can I do?

If ignoring them does not work, you can block them through your control panel and the message forums. If they are still able to reach you through mychatnow.com, let us know and we will look into it.

My child is using your service. How do I remove it?

The quickest and easiest way to remove the profile is to get the login and password information from your child and then go in and erase all of the information. You can then go to control panel and "suspend account" which ensures that no one can view the profile. Once you have done this, please email us with the link and let us know that you've suspended the account and would like it deleted and we will erase it for you.

I've run across something that is in violation of your polices. Who do I tell?

Please send us the profile address and any additional information you are aware through the contact link at the top of every page.

XXX is not working, what do I do?

Since we've just launched, things are bound to be buggy. Please let us know when you find something not to be working, and we'll look into it. Contacting us with these issues will help us make mychatnow.com better.
